How It Works

Wallet Card

When printing, set your printer to "Actual Size" (not "Fit to Page"). The card is designed to print at 3.375 x 2.125 inches, the standard credit-card size. Print on card stock and laminate for durability. Trim to size and keep it in your wallet or ID holder.

Phone Lock Screen

The downloaded image is 1080 x 1920 pixels. Set it as your phone's lock-screen wallpaper. First responders are trained to check locked phones for emergency info. The image uses a dark background with high-contrast text for readability in any light.

What to Include

Prioritize life-critical information: blood type, severe allergies (especially drug allergies), current medications that affect emergency treatment (blood thinners, insulin, beta-blockers), and at least one emergency contact reachable 24 hours a day. Keep entries short so the card remains legible.

Privacy

All data is saved only in your browser's localStorage under the key utils_emergency_info_card. Nothing is ever sent to a server. To move data between devices, use the printed card or the downloaded lock-screen image.
